Two Factor Authentication
Two Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA or Multi-Factor Authentication, keeps your information safe, even when an attacker knows your password. It’s a crucial layer in any IT Security setup.
If you’re struggling to introduce 2FA in your organisation, we can help.
Planning
Deploying 2FA can introduce some uncertainty and confusion across your user base. Its introduction needs to be timed and planned accordingly, to minimise interruptions to workflow, especially for key staff and systems. Our planning process reveals any unforeseen implications, even temporary, so that they can be mitigated accordingly.
Usually two dates are agreed. The first is a soft activation, this is where we enable the 2FA functionality on the system(s) involved and then start the training and educational work, giving a deadline when each member of your team will have to have completed the 2FA activation steps. After the soft activation date expires, any remaining users not signed up to 2FA are then prevented from logon, until the activation process is completed.
Training & Education
We customise our training and education materials for each client. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach here.
We’ll help users prepare for the change so that there aren’t any suprises, uncertainty or unneccesary anxeity being introduced.
Our approach can make all the difference between a successful stress free roll-out and a disastrous productivity draining implementation period.
Activation
Come activation day, everyone knows what’s going to happen and when. Everyone can see the benefits of 2FA and have the reassurance that they will be supported all the way through the process by an experienced team of IT engineers.
Support
Following activation, our IT support team are on hand to help your team implement 2FA, helping with the activation process, mobile device configuration and giving that reassurance in what could be a stressful time.
